I’ve always been interested in video creation. I’ve created and edited videos since I was about 12 but quit a couple years ago to focus on school. I’ve always had a love for it though and the thought of creating content has always been in my head. Well later on, at the beginning of 2019, I was bored and decided I neede…

I'm a freelancer, gaining confidence in my voice and abilities, and I want my rates to reflect that. That said, when an independent developer asks for my rates(Interactive, video game) and I tell him 85 pfh, am I stiffing him? Being too lenient? Do other actors in Interactives typically charge per hour, per word, or so…

Hi, I’m not sure if I’m posting this properly... I’m new on Reddit. I’m moving to Hungary from Canada and I want to learn more about the film industry in Hungary, specifically if there is an ACTRA equivalent in Europe or Hungary. What are some reputable agents in the country? I know on the actra page there is a list of…

I’m an established actor but being a producer is something that I’d really love to become. But do you see it as a conflict of interest? For example, I would say being a casting director and actor is a conflict of interest, especially if you’re casting yourself. I’m not looking for right or wrong answers, just opinions…

I'm an Actor and Musician but surprisingly didn't have an interface or mic. Voice Acting is something I've considered for a while since I'm also a regular (live? in-person?) Actor so I finally stopped being lazy and picked them up and got to work. I recorded all this in my closet under a blanket and left the voices raw…

I have watched some of his movies post-Harry Potter such as *Horns* and *Now You See Me 2* and I wasn't all that impressed. He comes across as very "*wooden*" and "*stiff*", IMO!

I know a lot of people are tight on money and have a lot of things going on rn so are acting classes considered a priority to many interested in the art or is it more of a luxury during the pandemic? I just want to get a gauge of how actors are feeling about classes rn.

I’m considering applying to the Actors Studio Drama School MFA acting program at Pace. The tuition looks to be on the higher end for an MFA, plus the cost of living in NYC. Are the…

So for anyone who edits their own reel (and for any actor really), you know that getting the actual usable footage is one of the hardest parts.
