Connecting your Instagram account

We offer an optional feature that shows your recent Instagram photos on your website. These are the terms that apply if you choose to use it. How we handle the data itself is set out in our privacy policy.

  1. It is optional. Your website works exactly the same without it. You start the connection yourself and you can end it yourself at any time from Settings and then Integrations in your admin.
  2. The account must be yours. You may only connect an Instagram account you own or are authorized to manage, and you confirm you have the right to publish the content it holds.
  3. It must be a professional account. Instagram only permits this kind of connection for Business and Creator accounts. Personal accounts cannot be connected, which is Instagram's rule and not ours. Switching account type is free and is done inside the Instagram app.
  4. You keep every right to your photos. Connecting grants us no ownership, no license to reuse your work elsewhere, and no right to publish it anywhere other than on your own website. We display your posts and link each one back to Instagram.
  5. We only ever read. We request read access to your media and nothing more. We will never post, delete, comment, send messages, follow, unfollow or like anything as you. We cannot, because we do not hold the permissions that would allow it.
  6. You remain bound by Instagram's own rules. Your use of Instagram is governed by Instagram's Terms of Use. Nothing here replaces or overrides them.
  7. The feature depends on Instagram. Instagram controls this access and has changed and withdrawn it before. If Instagram alters, restricts or ends the service, the feed may stop working with little or no notice. That is outside our control, it is not a fault in your website, and it is not grounds for a refund of your hosting, which does not depend on this feature.
  8. We are independent. Web For Actors is a trading name of Find Your Net, LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

Connecting your Dropbox account

We offer an optional feature that lets you bring your own audio files and images from Dropbox into your website's media library. These are the terms that apply if you choose to use it. How we handle the data itself is set out in our privacy policy.

  1. It is optional. Your website works exactly the same without it. You start the connection yourself and you can end it yourself at any time from Settings and then Integrations in your admin.
  2. The account must be yours. You may only connect a Dropbox account you own or are authorized to manage.
  3. The files must be yours to use. You confirm you hold the rights to any recording or image you import, and that publishing it on your website infringes nobody else's. A file being in your Dropbox is not the same as it being yours to publish.
  4. You keep every right to your files. Importing grants us no ownership, no license to reuse your work elsewhere, and no right to publish it anywhere other than on your own website.
  5. We only ever read, and only what you pick. We request read access and nothing more. We will never add, edit, move, rename, delete or share anything in your Dropbox. We cannot, because we do not hold the permissions that would allow it. We do not read files you have not chosen.
  6. An import is a copy, not a link. The file becomes an ordinary item in your media library. Changing or deleting the original in Dropbox afterward does not change what is on your website, and disconnecting does not remove what you already imported.
  7. Your usual limits still apply. An imported file counts toward the same storage and file-type rules as anything you upload directly, and we may decline a file that is too large or in a format your website cannot use.
  8. You remain bound by Dropbox's own rules. Your use of Dropbox is governed by Dropbox's Terms of Service. Nothing here replaces or overrides them.

These are simplified terms of service for our members. We treat all Web For Actors members like part of a family, so same rules apply as at a dinner table (and a few more). Violation any of these rules will be subject to indefinite cancellation of your membership with Web For Actors hosting. Anyone registering for a free or paid account is expected to familiarize themselves with these terms.

  • No Foul Language we will occasionally monitor websites for content. If we find anything that seems inappropriate, we will let you know before taking any action. This service is for professionals, and we hope for professional behavior.
  • No Adult Content there is a zero-tolerance rule against hosting nude images or videos on your website. If spotted, such material will be automatically removed and you will be notified. Multiple violations of this type would be subject to dismissal of your membership.
  • All designs are copywritten by Web For Actors extracting HTML from websites in order to self-host is strictly forbidden and bound to copyright infringement laws
  • No External JavaScript unless of course it is previously approved. We intend to keep all your pages operating smoothly and efficiently. If you want to implement some feature using JavaScript, let us know first - the chances are our professional programming team will do it for you.
  • PayPal subscription must be maintained this is what keeps everything running. If you cancel your subscription, your service will be halted automatically. We cannot restore your service until your subscription is restored.
  • These terms themselves are subject to change we try not to impose too many rules on our members, but if something comes along that is a deal breaker for us, we will make sure to add it here, but we will notify you of this change first - if there are any objections, let your voices be heard.
