Hey gang, I'm on the hunt for some Aussies for a project I'm shooting and I've tried the usual avenues (Backstage, Mandy, Casting Role Call), but I'm having some trouble getting my hands on some Australians. I'm looking for 40+ year old men and would highly appreciate if anyone could point me in some direction! Is ther…

I'm completely foreign to all of this. Never put my foot in the door if you know what I mean. Voice acting has always been something I wanted to do though, and I think it's time I at least try. I have a few questions. How do you guys actually create a voice demo without having any past work to pull audio from? I tried…

Hi fellow actors, I was wondering whether anyone has taken an online class with John Windsor-Cunningham and how it went? Am considering taking a class but an older reddit post wasn't exploding with positivity and I couldn't seem to find any actual reviews. Would much appreciate anyone sharing their experiences! Merci.

I've heard back from the director for the audition of a play that I'd want to go to, in exactly two weeks. They've informed me that as part of the audition, I would be required to sing an excerpt of a song of my choice. The thing is in my mind, I feel that I have no singing ability. I could try and hold a note to, like…

I have a B.A. in theatre, however, in the 4 years I was in college I was never cast. This did a number on my confidence and I took a "break" when I graduated in 2010. In the past 9 years, I've done tech on maybe 5 shows. I feel like my theatre degree is wasted and I'm still paying for it. But NOW- I see that some of my…

I’m an actor about to graduate undergrad and I am hungry for summer acting opportunities. I was just wondering what everyone’s opinion is regarding getting paid as a beginning voice actor? A common piece of advice that is given to actors is to create your own work.
