Hi there everyone, I'm new to this community for the past few years I have been hard at work on my HP Fan Timeline I am happy to say that The Founders S01E01 is making progress, however one small hiccup I have cast most but not all and Auditions have been slowing down and now am in desperate need of Female Voice Actres…

I’ve never seen this but I’m also a few months into AA so maybe it’s normal? I saw a role for a short film and liked the idea so I applied, got an eco cast and submitted my self tape. During this time, the casting director probably didn’t know how to use AA because I was getting multiple messages all saying the same th…

I greatly appreciate the success and progress I’ve made. I’m 33 years old and I started acting 5 years ago. Since then I’ve got an LA agent, booked 3 supporting roles in low budget feature films, booked 4 episodes in a low budget tv series, and became SAG eligible. Now I’m just not sure how to get to the next level. I’…

I know some scenes were shot without Ronald so that allows for retakes but how tf did they not break when interacting with him. If I had to do Noah’s “I’m a racist” scene or be the defendant’s attorney, I would have absolutely lost my mind the second I made eye contact with the other actors. I’m truly mind blown!

the examples he gave me were for really accomplished actors they represent, like people that have multiple series / recurrings / supporting roles in films opposite major stars.... ... and i don't have that yet. so my "accomplishments" would be training and student films... it kinda seems pathetic to write it like that.…

On November 5, 2007, the WGA strike was called, but our show did not shut down. Yes, the DGA (and Teamsters) had no-solidarity strike clauses in their contracts, but were supportive of the strike (many of the directors and producers were also WGA members). The strike called for writers to stop writing. Whatever had bee…

I feel like it was an open call but I have no fact. So an agent was probably possible for the few with more experience. I doubt it was on actors access though. Just curious.

I'm shooting a commercial in NYC and I am looking to get a professional non-union actor. Would anyone know what is the day rate for this?

I assume most have seen the news about the looking Writers strike May 1st and I’ve seen some about a SAG strike in solidarity. I’m wondering what this is going to mean for the every day actor? I assume there won’t be any auditions while this is going on? In that instance is it more beneficial to go workshops or classes…

As the title states. I am thinking of diving into CN and KR dubs of various media, as I am enjoyer of quality dubs regardless of language, and I am curious as to who are considered among the most popular VAs in those dubs across different age groups and experience levels. Many thanks in advance to those who can answer!

Heyy Fellow actors. I just got the opportunity to go to festival the Cannes. I know this huge and all that. I will be on the red carpet, this wil be my first red carpet. I also will be backstage with filmproducers/directors. Anyone tips or tricks for the best way to market myself as an actor.

I'm in an amateur acting club for teens and we have to do an educational performance about respect to a bunch of 6th graders. So far it's been good but there's a considerable problem with people exiting. It starts with a bully starting problem with 2 friends calling them a couple, before exiting alongside 1 of the frie…

I have been applying to agents for a few years now, nobody expressed interest except for one smaller agency a few months ago. I decided to sign since nobody else was offering, and today one of the best agency’s in my area responded to my submission from about 4 months ago asking if I’d come in for an interview. I’m not…

In the world of auditioning, no news is often the only news: If you don’t hear back, it means they went with someone else. While it would be great to receive closure via direct rejection, casting directors may not have the bandwidth to notify every auditioner who didn’t get a callback or book the part. They are also no…

Hello, everyone. I'm here because my fiancee is enrolled in school and Acting classes here in Ontario, woo! However, with that, I'm unsure of how to help her proceed. She would know better than I what's going on, but, to my understanding, she's building up her portfolio. She's adding projects from class, she's voicing…

This is something I've noticed lately on Actors Access and Backstage. Some breakdowns (mostly student films) will have age ranges of 20+ years, like from 18-40 or 25-50. I'm just curious as to the mindset behind this? I'd assume the casting director/whoever is casting would know the general age of the character they're…

What’re your thoughts on getting Botox for Elevens and the forehead? I’m a woman approaching my 40’s and thinking of getting it done to get a smoother forehead. But I don’t want it to adversely affect my acting. Has anyone done it? What’s been your experience?

Hey all -Has anyone ever been in a similar situation? A film I auditioned for announced its cast and most of the cast all belong to the same agency and are also executive producers.
