Hey there! I'm sure the words "aspiring voice actor" have been said on here a million times as are the some of the things I'll be talking about here. The only difference between those and this post (hopefully) is that I've already done research, applied it, and still don't know where I am going wrong. Not to say there'…

Strong accent failure

So, I can imitate many accents, I am really good at it. However, I myself have an accent when I speak normally (latino) so doing the average American accent is the hardest for me. Like I said, other accent are fine, is just the typical American one I have a problem with. Could I still become a voice actress?

Even if you 'make it' have you really made it?

Like seriously. There is no job security whatsoever. Like even if you somehow bag a big role in some serial, years down the line when it's over, there's a solid chance you'll still be jobless. Ive been listening to my own voice, and the thing about *ME* hearing *my own voice* is that, it’s very difficult to hear it from a 3rd person perspective, and then, decide what types of characters my own voice would fit into. [Alert: The Dark Knight film mentioned] Does the character that an actor/tress is asigned to, influences in how much recognition the actor/tress receives for his work from society in general?

*Firstly, I wanna tell you that I don't know anything about acting. She was doing a q&a and answered a question saying her self-taping pet peeves are when 1. actors read their sides as a monologue bc they don’t have a reader, and 2. when they prerecord the other lines. I 100% totally get that this is annoying- hell I’d probably be annoyed if I…
